Sponsorship Opportunities
Target Audience :
West Fest appeals to a wide and sophisticated audience. West Town neighbors, families, pet owners, and Chicago-land festival, art, and music enthusiasts of all ages attend the event. The majority of attendees tend to be between 25-35 years of age.
Audience Survey: In a survey conducted in 2006, the average attendee was 30 years old. 70% of the attendees surveyed were from the West Town Community area, and 30% were from other neighborhoods in Chicago and the suburbs.
Exposure through Advertising:
Time Out Chicago is a print media sponsor for West Fest and several full-page advertisements with sponsor listings/logos will appear in the magazine to promote the event. Time Out Chicago also blasts their email list of over 25,000 people with links and information on the event and lists the event on their website with a link to www.westfestchicago.com.
Q101 is the exclusive radio sponsor of West Fest and the event will receive over 40 promotional spots. Q101 also features information and a link on their website, and promotes the event in a blast to their email list of over 160,000 people.
Additional Marketing: Press releases are sent to over 100 local and national press contacts. 500 posters and 10,000 postcards are produced with sponsor logos/listings which are distributed locally.
Online Exposure:
The event is promoted on the chamber website www.westtownchamber.org, and on the event’s exclusive website www.westfestchicago.com with an entire page dedicated to sponsor links and logos. West Fest also has its own Facebook page and Twitter Account with hundreds of followers and fans.
Yelp.com is also a media sponsor and will email blast approximately 70,000 local influencers and tastemakers all over Chicago.
Additional Advertisements will be placed in local newspapers and magazines pending sponsorship deals and final budgets including: The Chicago Reader, The Onion, and The Red Eye.
Onsite Exposure:
Sponsors may participate with onsite signage and vending opportunities. Sponsorship of West Fest offers your business direct, live exposure to large crowds in a relaxed, friendly and non-threatening environment.
